I'm obsessed with handmade, vintage lace which was, at one time, the "busy work" of most Victorian women & girls. In the days before TV sets, computers, cell phones, girls learned how to sew, knit, crochet, & embroider. Today, I discover their precious handwork at estate sales. I rescue it & magically transform it into heirloom wedding accessories. I also dab a bit into the same activity but without the sober dedication of those by-gone crochet-ers.
